Story
Isabella Pakenham is a Creative Writing and Drama graduate, BA HONS, and a Masters Graduate of Fiction. She first wrote stage plays from a love of character and dialogue. After writing and directing her original play, Eternal Youth, she realised a love of workshopping, of the journey of a story, of working collaboratively and enjoying the process. Naturally, her creative path arrived at Prose, combining her love of dialogue with a poetic and lyrical nature. She has since written her first novel, La Luna, which explores witchcraft in medieval England. Her writing lends itself to short stories and poetry, being evocatively descriptive and quite elaborate.
Pages of the Moon started as a market stall, selling poetry and short stories on a travelling cart, and has journeyed into a website, a creative voyage that is all about connecting through language and imagination. I hope you find inspiration here, in this dream-like orbit, and find a story or a poem that touches your heart; speaks to your soul. It is a romantic place, an evocative space that encourages whimsical and wild living. A feminine approach to life, this website reflects that not everything is about power or success, but sometimes a yearning to reflect, to nurture, to imagine; to be set free.
